Welcome to the web site of The Smart CASUALS. We are a three piece covers band that plays high class live music, covering all eras of popular music from the 50’s to the present. We can offer lively rock music sets or quieter jazz/easy-listening music. We play in all venues from local pubs to larger halls bars and clubs, all over the country.

We hired this band to play at our wedding reception and they were brilliant! Played an excellent mix of music included a fantastic version of Power of Love by Huey Lewis for our first dance! Can't recommend them highly enough!

Band Profiles

Ste Roscoe has played drums from a very young age. He studied popular music to degree level and enjoys playing all forms of popular music. As well as the band, Ste teaches drums privately and works in schools and for youth organizations.

Dale Ellis is a multi-instrumentalist and studied music at Salford University. He began playing drums at the age of 11 and since then began to learn other instruments including Guitar and Bass. He has performed in over 15 bands in the last 10 years and has developed skills in many different genres such as Rock, Jazz, Funk, Soul and Indie. He also is a regular attendant of open mic. nights around the north west and runs his own open mic. night at a busy venue in the city centre of Manchester.

Lee Meadows is a multi faceted guitarist with influences spanning from Heavy Rock/Metal to Jazz Classical and Popular music (and tap dancing), after graduating from University in 2005 Lee has performed in various function bands playing music ranging from 70’s Disco to 80’s Rock as well as playing solo guitar styles at low key performances all over the UK.
